'We had a lovely time visiting the Lake George area. This home is very clean, in a nice neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants. We will be back again soon!'

'We had a great stay here the host was very quick to respond and the owner of the property was very nice as well and helpful. It was a very nice house and we plan on booking here again in the future. The only recommendation I would have would be to maybe place a railing next to the outside steps otherwise this house I would recommend to anyone staying in Lake George,New York'

'The online photos seem to have been taken many years ago when the property was first built. There has been wear and tear on the facility since, I felt misled the moment I walked in the door. Additionally, there was a powerful cleaning smell throughout our stay, likely masking something else. And there were bugs located in the living space and a hornet's nest outside of the balcony.'

'The rooms were a good size especially for a crawling infant; the location was great; there should have been more lighting in the main room; the heating system was poor and inadequate on one night when the room temperature dropped to 66F or lower -- this was very uncomfortable for us as grandparents as the 6 month infant was unable to sleep and had cold hands and feet '

Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need.
