Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new.
The hotel is on a quiet residential street but took me 5mins to walk into the town centre which has loads of bars, shops and restaurants.
Worth calling ahead of arrival and they'll reserve you a parking spot (There aren't many spots)
Nice bloke on reception showed us our rooms and kindly found me a fan.

'Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very modern and lovely & clean. When we did stay it was a very hot weekend where the room was hot, would of been nice if there was a fan in the room that we could of used.
Free parking which is an added bonus. Only short walk into Colchesters main town. Would recommend to anyone.'

'A large suite with separate bedroom and bathroom, both of a very generous size. This was offered as an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Staff most attentive and food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended.'

'Hotel was excellent, close by the town centre. Service was also excellent and our room was spacious with an enormous bathroom and superb shower. Our only down side was the size of the bed, it was hardly the kingsize to which we are accustomed so we did not sleep well together, would make sure we had twin beds if we stayed again. Otherwise we rate this hotel highly.'

'Vriendelijke mensen bij de receptie. Kamer was wel erg klein maar opzich goed te doen. Kamers zijn gehorig. Schoonmaaksters stond soms wel erg vroeg voor de deur maar reageerde heel goed hierop. Ligt dicht bij het centrum.'

'I expected to be in the annex, but the room was very good and had a balcony.
Food was excellent, generous portions.
To be honest, I thought the wine was a bit pricey.

'We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .'

' We really enjoy our stay at the farm. The location is very convenient, in a quiet spot but close to a well connected road. Our duplex had everything we needed for a short stay including a well equipped kitchen when and bathroom with toiletries.
We took advantage of the amenities of the farm including the playing area with plenty of toys for a toddler aged child as well as pool and foosball tables and outdoor space (swimming pool was still close at this time).

'An ancient pub with fantastic bedrooms. Easy parking, excellent range of beers in the bar, great staff, clean and well looked after room. No restaurant at the pub but a fantastic breakfast basket in the room. Really nice place. Thoroughly recommended'

'Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. '
