'The host was communicative and responsive. The initial directions were a bit unclear, but the host promptly responded. However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. Additionally, the electricity appeared to be a bit rigged as there were adapters plugged into surge protectors. At one point the breaker tripped, but it was handled expeditiously. Super easy getaway from the DC area for water views, a quiet area, and nature activities nearby. Stacy was helpful with recommendations for the latter, as well. We’re eager to stay again when the weather is warmer to get out on the water—but despite a chill, the home and views did not disappoint!'
