'We had a great start here. The property was beautiful. My only note to other guests is that the grill is charcoal and we were not aware we needed to bring our own charcoal. It is not available on the island, make sure to bring your own!!! Other than that, everything was fantastic. Beautiful property, and a huge unexpected plus was how close it was to the beach. '

'My husband and i came from VA to spend time near our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Port Charlotte. This home was great for our family gatherings. We spent a lot of time in the headed pool. The smaller children enjoyed the swings. The neighborhood was real peaceful and convenient to anything we needed. Our host was very responsive to our requests. We would definitely like to come back here.'

'We loved the nostalgia of the motel. Everything is updated and very clean! The park and Bay across the street were a great surprise and Eben better location for lunch and a walk. The rooms were a little cramped but meets all of our needs. We will definitely stay again!'

'The Sunset Inn was a wonderful choice for our overnight in Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte. It's a great location right across the street from Charlotte Harbor and close to everything we wanted to do in Punta Gorda. The Inn's property is beautifully landscaped and well kept. The suite is very clean, the bed very comfortable and the mini kitchen area had everything needed for cooking (although we ate out the entire weekend.) Correspondence from the host was timely and informative and the property...
