'We zijn twee weken geweest met onze kinderen voor ons 25 jarige huwelijk in dit fantastische huis met een betoverende tuin. In de omgeving is veel te doen zoals heerlijk eten in Sarlat, kano varen op de Dordogne, kastelen zoals Beynac en Castelnaud-La-Chapelle, de grotten van Proumeysseac en de zondagsmarkt in Issigeac. Het huis is voorzien van alle gemakken met vier slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers zodat ieder zijn eigen privacy heeft. Zwembad was een heerlijke uitkomst bij warme dagen....

'Real castle beautifully situated on the river edge with nice & private outdoor areas and pool. Indoor & kitchen facilities complete although somewhat dated. All in all we had a great stay. The communications with the owner and local caretaker were pleasant and efficient.'

'Absolutely superb to sum it up. We were there in a heatwave (4 days of 42 degrees) so Xavier brought extra fans and was always on hand to help. 9 adults. 1 teenager, 2 kids and a baby…. All were pleased with their stay! We used the air con unit from the top floor to keep the middle floor cool each night. 'very well furnished house for a large group. With friends and family staying in the vicinity, we were able to have up to 25 people for a dinner or a lunch without too much effort. Everything is very simple, but in the winter with all the coats and shoes, we lacked space to put things away or hang them. The heating was barely coping with the vast spaces, luckily it wasn't too cold. The kitchen is fantastic, and overall we had a great Christmas time.'

'We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.'
