'Excellent stay'

'We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.'

Quel endroit idéal pour être au calme, se ressourcer dans la nature mais aussi pour passer un moment de qualité à plusieurs. 'We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. '13 of us hired the both the chateau and the guest house for a week. All the rooms in both buildings were fabulous, and beautifully decorated. Long tables for outdoor and indoor eating areas for the whole group and 2 swimming pools - perfect for a large group of friends.'

'We had a wonderful time at this location. Beautiful surroundings, a lovely castle, and a house with a pool. Upon arrival, a few things were amiss, and these were addressed and resolved immediately. So the service was very good. The location is good, 4* For a 5* review we advise the owners to do more in terms of maintenance.'

'We've spent some phantastic days in this unique place. The apartment in the Château Lacypierre is bright and large, renovated with much love for historical details and tastefully decorated. A juwel! It is thoughtfully and perfectly well equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. Guests also benefit from the spacous private garden area.
