'Just needed a get away! This did the trick :) A cute little cabin with a comfy bed, and cozy surroundings! Just what the Dr. ordered! All the amenities were perfect. Enjoyed the hot tub on a cool starry night and again, perfect! Thank you to the hosts, Kate and Jon!'

'House was able to fit two families very comfortably. It is an older place with lots of character and some new renovations. A close walk to the main street of Hurstville if a plus and makes it easy meals and shopping. we did have one issue with the place but the host was very quick to resolve the problem.'

'It was our very first time to Algonquin. We enjoyed outdoor activities at the property on the first day, and stayed indoor for the last two days due to bad weather. We had lots of fun with Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, taking pictures, playing board games, playing Switch. The view of fall on the lake was fantastic. We even gave up visiting provincial parks nearby. It exactly like you enjoy painting pictures when you looked out the windows. The house warmed up quickly and evenly with floor heating...

'In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! 'Property was beautiful and located right on the muskoka river. Everything was functional. We played a couple games of pool (slopes a bit) and darts. Wifi was a bit spotty so we weren’t able to watch a movie but we really enjoyed the games. The biggest down side was the air fresheners in each room. 2 of us have allergies and it really affected us. Know now to ask next time. A couple more hand towels would be appreciated. We did enjoy our time. All in all a great stay.'

There were many good books to select a good read from. Lighting, fireplace, hottub and all other features were set up with very helpful information. I highly recommend this property.'
