The lobby area and the back porch area where breakfast is served is very historic looking, but well maintained and cozily decorated. Ditto for our room once we let ourselves in. The grounds are very relazing.'

We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement.
