'Absolutely beautiful little cottage! Perfect for what we wanted and fully enclosed garden for our little dog! Nice and roomy for the two of us who fancied a few days seeing the sights of York. Shower nice and powerful and location lovely and quiet but not too far from local shops and restaurants. Very clean and tidy upon arrival! Would highly recommend and would stay again! Thank you!'

Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. 'Though they mentioned but it be nice to have shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion in the bathroom.'

'Absolutely beautiful. Oweners were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend x'

'Lovely cottage. Warm and cosy. Well managed'

'3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. Bathroom downstairs. All amenities are easy to use. Very relaxing for us in our 70s. Communication from Cottages.com is excellent.Highly recommended.'

'Great location for York City centre. So central and very convenient. Would stay again and would use this company due to great customer service.'

'Really lovely stay here, we had everything we needed and the hot tub was great! Really modern place with home from home comforts! Would definitely reccomend.'

'The flat was lovely—spotlessly clean, easy to find, and in a great location. It was perfect for our family of four. The walk to the city centre took around 15 minutes, which the kids enjoyed without any complaints.'
