'I had a fantastic stay at The Bridges B&B. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly, which was lovely for someone, like me, travelling alone. The room was spotless with little touches such as different types of tea on offer and a chocolate treat on the bedside table. Breakfast was lovely too. It was a perfect location to explore the wonderful Northumberland area.'

'The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again...

'Very friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast and dinner were both very good. The family room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom. The wifi was good and there is lots of parking space. We heard a continuous hum in our room, but it wasn’t a big deal because it quite well before bedtime. We didn’t ask about it but assumed that it was probably a ventilation fan from the kitchen.
