We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Apartmani Zaton Bay. We stayed in the luxury apartment & found it spacious & clean. The landlords lived in the apartment below & were friendly & helpful, & dealt with any issues quickly. It is right on a main road but we didn't find this a big issue - the location was certainly very handy both for exploring further north (Trsteno Arboretum was just a few minute's drive away & very beautiful & also worth popping down to the harbour for a swim if you go right down to the end of the road) & for getting into Dubrovnik by car or bus. We tried the latter once & found the timetable quite confusing & the stop you need to get off at really isn't obvious at all but the landlord gave us handy info on it & it was considerably cheaper than parking in Dubrovnik, which cost around £5 per hour. The only down side to the apartment was that the oven didn't go as high as the usual temperature & so it took considerably longer to cook anything in it - I certainly wouldn't have attempted a roast in it! It would also have been useful to have had a peeler & a washing up bowl but we managed without them (& discovered the kids quite happily ate carrots with their peels on!). Also, if you are planning to drive up north of Peljsac Peninsula, don't forget to take your passports with you as there is a little strip of coast that belongs to Bosnia & Herzegovina, at Neum, so you have to drive through two lots of customs on the main road.
