'This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory.'

'The property all on ground floor which was great close to the hospital. It was local to where we were meeting relatives for a long weekend away. Very clean and well heated and wifi was ok. Only negatives were we couldnt find a toaster or a wire grill to toast in oven and after contacting host re hairdryer was told in was broken. Luckily I washed by hair the day we travelled and its just about ok 3 days later. Would have took mine if known but itinery specified one.'

'Eckford house heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen , natuurlijk waren er dingen nog niet helemaal af maar je ziet dat ze erg hun best doen om er wat prachtigs van te maken. Warm welkom , prachtig huis, geweldige omgeving.op loop afstand botanische tuin. En prachtige natuur overal om je heen. 'I had such a lovely stay at The Bothy. On arrival it is obvious how much care goes into to the cottage to ensure your stay is as welcoming as possible. There was supply of tea, coffee and milk amongst other items. Also supplied was a great deal of information on the local area, details on eateries including cafes and pubs and menus for local takeaways. The cottage is in a perfect for one to two people want to explore the Scottish countryside and is also close to Stirling and other smaller towns...
