'Cozy seaside cottage near harbor with excellent communication and recommendations from host. All of our needs and comforts were satisfied. We would most DEFINITELY stay again and recommend to family and friends! We enjoyed coastal walks, the wood stove/sitting room, BIG kitchen, back garden, and space for everyone. The Dory Bistro was excellent! And I especially liked the friendly staff at the Coco Tree and the yarn shop.'

'We had a last minute change of plans and I needed to find suitable accommodation for my family of 4. I came across the 'Garden House' in my initial search and compared 5 other similar solutions. None measured up and that was only based on the images. The pictures undersold the property, utterly. The Garden House became a serendipitous highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. The location, setting, layout, preparation, standards, provisions were are excellent. The setting within Oxenford Castle...

'Thank you for a perfect weekend. House was so well located beside a garden centre and the coastal path - and in a beautiful area. It was ideal for coastal walks. Sun shone most of the weekend which made for lovely views of the sea and for exploring the surrounding villages. The house itself was comfortable and homely and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the evenings - local produce was all delicious too. Jeanette couldn’t have been kinder as she offered us an early check in too...

'First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us).'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Chesnut Cottage ! Very cosy, warm, welcoming little house ! Thank you for welcoming us and our dog ! The Arniston Estate is lovely, very calm. A nice place for walks. Very dark at night, we had the chance to see plenty of stars when the sky was clear enough. The fireplace with everything needed and the bathtube were the cherry on top ! Easy to access from Edinburgh airport. The train station of Gorebridge is also a big plus. 25min by train and you're in the town...

'A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone.'

'We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...

'Great location in a lovely village'

'The house was clean and complete, we did not miss a thing. Although we did not meet the owner, we felt welcome by the milk and biscuitts. Location is remote, about 10 minutes by car from shops and restaurants. The information on Vrbo shows also pictures of another rental, it was confusing wich pictures were the right ones.'

'An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back.'

'Comfortabel en gezellig ingericht huisje, een voormalig koetshuis. De eigenaren wonen in het grote huis op het terrein. Gelegen aan een vrij drukke doorgaande weg in een dorp. Vanwege het mooie weer hadden we de ramen open en dan hoor je de weg, met de ramen dicht viel het mee. Keuken is voorzien van alle apparatuur en kookgerei wat je maar kunt wensen, in de woonkamer goede meubels, lekker comfortabel. De eetkamer is een aparte ruimte en beetje donker maar wel goede verlichting aanwezig....

'Stayed here over Christmas whilst visiting family in Dunbar. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for our short stay. Great view over the harbour and beyond, from a lovely sunset one day to stormy waves crashing on the beach the next day. Really responsive communication from the hosts.'

'Absolutely loved our stay at bayview. The host had thought of everything and the location was fantastic, with a stunning view of the sea and a stone throw from the bridge to no where! Definately recommend and can’t wait to go back'
