Being a Profoundly Deaf person , all the staff tried their 100% to communicate with me. I recommend The Grand Hotel Esk to anyone needing a wonderful place to stay , have a fantastic meal and injoy a family friendly atmosphere.

'Hotel stuffed up our friends stay on the night of the Rugby Cup in Brisbane. Most places were booked out. The duty manager eventually was able to have a room for our friends and threw in breakfast (as the room was cheaper than that booked. Very happy with his professionalism and the way he approached the issue.'

'Absolutely loved the staff member in reception the night of my booking. She was amazing and kind through checking us in while my special needs son was tired/overwhelmed and having a meltdown. She really did make checking in a nice experience with her positive personality and ability to get us checked in fast. Hands down amazing, your lucky to have her! Thank you '

'Stayed due to partner having surgery at St Vincents Hospital, only 100m away. Staff suggested I park my car in the visitors car park prior to, and after, check out and offered use of the lounge. Being able to obtain cereal and fruit for breakfast a bonus. lovely accommodation at a reasonable price.'

'We have stayed at Chermside on Thomas several times. This time we had a nicely renovated room which was quite spacious compared to previous studio rooms. Lovely shower with awesome pressure. Comfy bed and nice kitchenette. The grab n go breakfast is sufficient. Undercover parking included is a bonus. Westfield shopping and bus terminal within easy walking distance. '

'After thinking we wouldn’t find accommodation anywhere to stay, we stumbled upon Dayboro Cottages. Not only was the communication awesome, but when we arrived, we immediately loved it. The cottage was lovely and clean, had everything we needed and we’ll definitely be coming back. Close to local IGA / cafes etc. The scenery is awesome and the area is just gorgeous. Will stay longer next time to fully appreciate it all, however I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you!!!'
