'I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

'De kamers zijn onberispelijk, het personeel en nieuwe eigenaren Allison en Graham zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het ontbijt was een prima English breakfast met voldoende keuze. Koffie was goed! '

'This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants. The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...

'Booked this property on a Saturday to stay that night turned up there was people staying there that told us we have to phone the hotel so get the PIN code to get in so we did only to be told over the phone that there was no rooms available due to renovation so we asked for a refund n we’ve not received any refund whatsoever !!!! Nothing to say on the website about renovations, scammers avoid!'

'We were blinded by the photos on the Internet. The reality is completely different. For example, the rooms are small and don't even have a wardrobe. The breakfast room was completely different. Sparse, unloved. It had the charm of a storage room. See photos. We had a room on the street. The noise was very loud due to the busy street and the poorly insulated and old windows. There is no air conditioning... The accommodation seems like a detention center for travelers. You're completely on...

'One thing to say it was like a back packers retreat !!! Everything was falling apart ! Back packers everywhere. No fridge or air con or fans in the room. No hot water for 3 days in my bathroom !!! No daily services so 1 towel was supposed to last me for 9 days !!! Photos in advert is not what it is when you get there either !!! Nice soft sofas are not at all what you get there !!! No tv in rooms either !! Place is falling apart !!! Do not book. They told me that Expedia has with...
