'The people at the front desk were extremely rude right upon check-in. We had friends come by for an hour or two and then they left but the property accused us of packing 5 people onto the property. They demanded our credit card information for check-in and wrote it down rather than just taking it for a security deposit. On top of that the room was extremely gross and smelled like mould and mildew, we had to check out and go book another hotel because after a few hours of being there, the smell...

'The room was very outdated. Had a bit of a musty smell. The windows were strange, they opened inwards and they were taped closed except for one. The screen needed to be cleaned. However the bathroom was very clean and bright and the bedding was also clean and fresh so for a place to crash for one night it will do.'

'We booked this property for 3 nights. It's a lovely unit and we have stayed at RG before and really liked it. We were there to spend 3 days hanging by the pool and relaxing. When we arrived and went to the pool, it was closed - there wasn't even water in it. I had specifically contacted them before we went, to confirm that the pool would be open, I was told it was. 'The unit that my family rented was having renovations done on the outside. There was a lot of tools, wires, saw dust outside which was not safe for my little kids. I requested some type of remediation from Sierra Lane. They did move me to another unit that was not undergoing construction and Expedia was excellent in providing some compensation. I will definitely book with Expedia again!!'

'This place is good value for money. Loved having a kitchen and the TV/fireplace area is lovely. It could use some TLC (peeling paint, old grout, etc). It was cozy and warm, great location. The only downside was the mattress on the bed. It was very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. I ended up sleeping on the sofabed on the third night, which was a bit better but also not great. Would definitely return if the mattress was upgraded.'
