'We zochten overnachting, niet te duur en met na-ure ontvangst aangezien we eerst na middagnacht de stad Newcastle zouden bereiken. Het ontvangst was vriendelijk en vlug. '

'Check in was busy due to many guests arriving at the same time but the staff dealt with it well and were very friendly. It's a beatiful old building with nice modern rooms. The bathroom was big with a walk in shower and a large bath. The restaurant dinner was really very good and also great service from the staff. I did not use the spa or pool facilities so can't comment on them.'

'The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. One minor gripe - when we set the sofa bed up, the mattress was dirty, covered in dust and food crumbs from the previous stay. Otherwise the apartment is comfortable and in a good...
