'Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.'

'We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit, and having on-site parking was a real bonus. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade on arrival, which was a lovely touch. 'unlike many other hotels that arose from a series of converted houses this hotel has made a really good job of converting an entire strip of houses. We did not have breakfast as it was way too expensive so went out to Caffe Nero around the corner. We booked graduation night for next month at the same time. Parking was difficult, despite getting a ticket from the Hotel to put onto the dashboard of the car.'
