'The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies.'

'It's right bang in the centre of the party . Surprisingly quiet in the room . Everything works fine . You can arrange to book in late . Just ring in advance. I would stay here again the next time I'm travelling in the area . '

'Although we have had some issue at checkin, the staff responded properly and fixed all our issues, even granting a superb room for the last day. Extensive breakfast with loads of options. Good food at dinnertime. A recommended place to stay.'

'The hotel is in a great location right on the seafront. Fast efficient check in and a nice room. Breakfast was very tasty. Loved the green option of swapping a room clean for a free drink. Perfect for a 2 night stay and great for the climate.'

'The Beachside is an excellent choice for anyone going to Redcar. It’s exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I’m booked again for Blam Blam next year it’s such a great place to stay A+++++'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The location right on the seafront made it easy to enjoy walks and the views, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day. The hotel has a classic seaside charm, and it provided a pleasant base for exploring Whitley Bay and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would be happy to stay again. '
