'This great property in pilot Mountain was in the back of the pharmacy on Main Street which made it private and quiet but only steps from the downtown area of shops and restaurants. 'Great communication, pet-friendly, easy to get in, parking wasn't an issue on the street, area felt very safe and quiet. Only critique I have is there was a faint smell of smoke in the living room - I'm not sure if people are allowed to smoke inside because the listing says smoking allowed in "designated areas" but regardless it was something we noticed because we were traveling with an infant. Otherwise have nothing bad to say about this apartment.'

'The good: The property was very nice. The kitchen and seating area were roomy and well equipped. Beds were comfy. The bad: Ground floor does not mean no steps. The entrance is on the basement level, so a flight of stairs is required to get to the room. There is a side door on the ground level that can be used to exit, but it does not have a code device for re-entry. There is basically no parking (only 3 spots) at the facility, so parking is about 3 blocks away in the public lot by Town...

'The place is clean and beautiful, however the noise level was high. We were on the first floor. We could hear the footsteps of people above us and at one point a group came home late at night and woke us all up. The high vaulted ceilings echos the noise level. The host was attentive, the location was perfect close to the Raffaldini Vineyards and right in downtown Elkin. The price was good.'
