Prachtig privé-strand aan het strand met 4 slaapkamers

Zonnige, ruime kaap met 4 slaapkamers en een eigen zoetwaterstrand. Jenkins Pond is een van de schoonste veer gevoede vijvers op Cape Cod! Geniet van kajakken, zwemmen en vissen buiten uw achterdeur. Dit juweeltje van een huis heeft een front-to-back familiekamer met een 50-inch tv en een puzzel / kaarttafel voor veel familieplezier. De eerste verdieping is vol zon met keukenramen en een Franse deur met uitzicht op de vijver. Het achterdek met meerdere niveaus is perfect om te grillen of om 's ochtends koffie te drinken.

Je krijgt het beste van twee werelden met oceaanzoutwaterstranden op een paar minuten afstand en de zoetwatervijver in je achtertuin. Ga linksaf en je bent in Mashpee Commons, rechtsaf en je bent in het schilderachtige centrum van Falmouth Village. De veerboot naar Martha's Vineyard en Nantucket is een paar minuten verderop. Uw vakantie kan een ontspannende dag zijn op uw achtertuinstrand, of volgepakt met een bezoek aan het Mashpee Children's Museum, Wood's Hole Oceanographic Institute of de Falmouth Bike Trail. The property was as described in the listing. It is in an ideal location - sandy lake beach, close to ocean beaches, restaurants, shopping and the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The owner was very responsive to questions. We would stay again.

Pros:Beautiful location with access to the lake (part of the property and 20 yards away). Excellent master with ensuite with views over the lake. 2 other bedrooms upstairs, which we did not use, but were big enough to accommodate 2 per room. Downstairs - 1 further double bedroom, tv room/lounge, large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, utility room with shower and wc. Outside good sized decking area overlooking the lake.Great property 10 minutes north of Falmouth with easy access to shops, restaurants etc.Hosts were very helpful and communication was excellent.Cons:- ensuite upstairs had shower facility in bath with shower curtain - worked fine, but feels like it could be updated to a proper shower cubicle.- shower downstairs also had shower curtain rather than proper shower cubicle- upon arrival, we had to make our own bed - not a major deal, but I have never experienced this anywhere else in the worldSummary:If I was in this area again, I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful house in great setting, totally peaceful, which was just what we needed after a manic week in DC and NY.Thanks to Danny and Lisa.

This house is a stunner. So spacious, clean and beautifully decorated! The lake in the back is so private, peaceful and serene and waking up in the morning and having breakfast out on the deck with the birds chirping and the little ducks passing by was something so special. The weather was perfect this time of year, so that was icing on the cake. You will also be very close to the town of Falmouth (only a few minutes away) but also close to other towns and attractions. Restaurants and shopping very close by. Just a perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were super comfy. Lisa, our host, was super nice and helpful and so great to work with.I highly recommend this home. I would definitely stay here again! You will totally enjoy it if you decide to stay here!Cindy Smith and family.

Girls Weekend

Clean, attractive, perfect for kayaking on Jenkins Pond- close to Falmouth shopping, easy to get on and off Cape Cod - is close to Bourne Bridge, very relaxing sitting on the deck facing the pond.

Terrific time on Jenkins Pond

We really enjoyed our stay this year on the Cape! The location of this home is terrific. Wonderful views of the pond from the deck and the small beach on the property. Loved having the kayaks and SUPs for use. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet - and perfect for walking/running. Plus, there are numerous trails nearby. The proximity to Falmouth is also great. Finally, the home itself. Very comfortable and clean. Thankful for the window A/C units in the bedrooms, but we had very nice weather, so they were rarely used. Lisa is a great host and maintains a very nice property. Thanks for the great week!

Perfect home for a "girls getaway weekend!"

Let me first say that I have rented many properties over the years for both friend and family holidays, and Lisa is by far the most friendly and communicative host I have ever experienced. She is exceptionally delightful! This home was the perfect gathering place for our getaway of five 50-something gals. The beds were especially comfy, the kitchen was well-appointed, the deck overlooking the (very large) pond was lovely, and the home was both clean and well-decorated. We enjoyed using the kayaks in November, thanks to a great weather weekend. And we walked and biked the nearby Shining Sea Bike Path. The sunset viewing from The Knob and from Old Silver Beach was excellent. This home was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We could not more highly recommend it. Lisa is an extraordinary host!

Peaceful retreat

It was so nice to stay at this peaceful location with a great view. The house had everything we could want. The sand toys and paddle boards were especially popular. There was plenty of room in the house for people to spread out and do what they want.

AMAZING HOME: AMAZING HOSTESS

This home is truly remarkable. This was our second stay, and the fun we had was echoed in the voices of my six year old twins who were in Jenkins Pond before their parents could even get them into their swim togs. The home is immaculate, well equipped, great for families and exceptionally welcoming. The improvements made since our last visit have only enhanced the home's appeal. The views from the deck are breathtaking, proximity to Falmouth center is very convenient as well. I've been coming to Falmouth for a little over five decades, and re-fall in love with it every time. Furthermore, our host and hostess are fabulous. Lisa cannot do enough for the renters. Communication with her is absolutely top-notch on any inconvenience. This year we had a couple situations (nothing to do with the home, as I mentioned, it is fabulous) that needed understanding and kindness. Lisa, as I expected, was exceptional in regard to both. As far as home and hostess are concerned, I'm running out of stars. Let's go 7 this year!!

Lovely and Spacious Pond Front Home

Lisa was a great host. She called me a few days before our stay to be sure we wouldn't have any issues on arrival and help with any information about the local area we might have questions on. The house was clean and neat with wonderful views of the pond throughout, and very spacious with the 4 bedrooms and multiple gathering rooms. The location was great for our Christmas shopping weekend with downtown Falmouth, Mashpee Commons, Cape Cod Mall all an easy drive.

Amazing girls' weekend!!

I can't say enough about this property!! It was absolutely beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. The view in the morning can't be beat. Lisa was hands down the best host that I've ever dealt with. This will not be our last girls weekend here!!
