Gezellig, ontspannend strandhuisje!

Welkom! Dit strandhuisje is een rustig toevluchtsoord voor u. Het is een nieuw gekocht huis met alle nieuwe meubels. Zeer schoon, zonnig, stil en op een steenworp afstand van het privéstrand en de lancering van de stadsboot. Breng uw boot en geniet van Little Bay of cruise naar Cape Cod of de eilanden. Aparte parkeerplaats voor boottrailer op het terrein. Kom en geniet van Fairhaven op zijn best. Het huisje heeft 1 queensize bed en een uitklapbare futon voor 2 personen, een nieuwe flatscreen-tv, wasmachine / droger, handdoeken en een leuke buitenhaard met comfortabele stoelen. Er is ook een volledig uitgeruste keuken met kookgerei, bestek en keukengerei. Aan de overkant van de haven bezoekt u het centrum van New Bedford met uitstekende restaurants met het meest verse zeevruchten aan de oostkust. New Bedford beleeft een culturele renaissance in de binnenstad en er zijn geweldige kunstgalerijen, het Whaling Museum (geweldig), cadeauwinkels en speciaalzaken. Spring op de "Fast Ferry" -dienst bij de Port Authority Terminal in New Bedford en maak een dagtocht naar Martha's Vineyard, CuttyHunk of Nantucket. Richting het oosten op RT195 en u bij de Bourne-brug naar Cape Cod. Kies ervoor om gewoon te settelen voor een rustig romantisch weekend "off the grid" of een intiem samenzijn met familie en vrienden. Fairhaven biedt enkele van de meest serene kustgebieden van de natuur en fietspaden die de regio te bieden heeft. Profiteer van alle schoonheid en voorzieningen van een Cape Cod-vakantie zonder al het verkeer en de kosten. Als u een boot hebt, is het laadperron aan het einde van de straat ... gratis !. A wonderful 9 days! The owners considered our every need. Close by there is so much fresh sea food The bay at the end of the street is warm, great for swimming. Nights are quiet, cool. And the cottage is “home “. We will return, but for longer!

By the Seashore

We were delighted to get there from Vermont. Our weather was not great, but we kayaked, biked, enjoyed the historical sights, the Whaling Museum a lot and Rick swam. Had sensational food at Ricarrdi's. We would not recommend the Bait and Hook out by the west beach at all = Very Disappointing. As for your accomodations we both fit in well. We would suggest that perhaps you take some of the items off of the book case so there is more room for our odds and ends. In the batheroom perhaps some of the space on the little shelves to the left of the toilet might be freed up for a few of you guests things. Also maybe move the conch shell on teh back of the toilet so there is room there. Not much space for toiletries. Also, a towel rack in the bathroom or somewhere would be helpful. Our weather was not clear enough to put our towels outside. We loved the outdoor shower.We have one too and that was ideal. And you had so many things for us to use that were so useful in case we forgot. I loved the space in the next door house. That was my favorite. In your ad it looks like that is the house you are renting. We did not know there would be two "houses". Thank you for your generosity. We may come again. We enjoyed the neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. It was too chilly for the beach, but so convenient. We had a very nice time. Again our thanks. Jody and Rick

Quaint and Cozy Cottage Stay

This was the best cottage with everything we needed. So close to the boat ramp and beach with excellent views. The cottage was clean and quaint with plenty of space for two. Backed up onto a preserve-like backyard, this gave us privacy when we were enjoying the patio space. Super inviting and host was easy to communicate with. Loved it and would stay again. :)

Great weekend getaway

Overall an amazing stay. Cute little cottage with a nice relaxing patio and sunroom. I loved being close to the beach and close to all the local attractions. The Hosts Joan and Mike were very responsive and easy to get in touch with. We look forward to visiting again.

The property was adorable, everything one might need being away from home was there for you. Host thought of everything. Very clean, cutely decorated, awesome area, so close to the beach. Host responded quickly to any questions we may have had. Very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone. We would love to stay there again.

Quiet retreat

This tiny cottage worked well for me and my small dog, very cozy but cheerful. The neighborhood is quiet, except for a little road traffic to the.boat ramp at the end.of the street. A good spot for restful getaway. The kitchen is tiny but well supplied. While I would suggest an upgrade in the.bed linens, overall the place gets very high marks.

Great little get-away

Fun little property to be by the water and get off the grid for a bit. Easy to get around. Great to be by the water and have access to a beach. Able to bring pups for a convenient bonus. Nice town center with quaint streets and nice bike path. Excellent location to get to the fast ferry to Martha’s Vineyard etc. Enjoyable time…thank you for the stay!

The location and logistics were very easy, which is good for us seniors. Simple unpretentious seaside area, and quiet with lots of birds right next to the patio. Would return. Easy to explore from if the spirit moves you. Water close by. Great Portuguese food in New Bedford.

Great cottage in coastal Massachusetts

We had a great time staying at the cottage- we found the location perfect. My kids loved walking down to the beach on the bay! The location is also in close proximity to bigger beaches, New Bedford attractions, the ferry to the islands, and cape cod. Our teenager loved her pull out couch in the separate building - three steps away from the main cottage, close enough yet separate enough, the perfect teenager haven. My little one stayed on the pull out futon in the main cottage. Everything was well stocked, super comfortable. The hosts were easy to contact and super helpful. Highly recommend this delightful rental!

Great getaway to refresh and rejuvenate!

My husband and I like to find quiet space to rejuvenate and this was perfect! Spent hours on the beach - litterly watched the tide role in and out. Lots of good food close by and quiet neighborhood. Lisa (neighbor) was super nice and enjoyed walking our dogs together.

Lovely coastal cottage

A perfect place for a quiet weekend away. The cottage is smaller but has everything you might want (pretty well-stocked kitchen, too). Nice firepit and grill in the yard and a nice patio to relax on as well. A new sunroom addition in a second one-room cottage is also very nice and accommodated our two friends who joined us for a night. There is a small boat launch about 500 feet away with a small beach adjacent that is nice to splash around in. The location is quiet but still close to grocery stores and restaurants, though during the pandemic all the town beaches we tried to go to were blocked to non-residents so we had to drive about 30 mins to Horseneck State beach -- nice beach but not as close as we had hoped. Would recommend this place for a couple, small family, or even two couples if you're willing to share a smaller space. Joan was very easy to communicate with and made our stay easy and pleasant.
