'The cricketers itself was very nice pub food was okay but nothing special, breakfast was good. Our room (the best)was located in a converted bungalow over the road , on arrival i was handed rhe keys and told its over there!! 'We arrived at about 730pm and were greeted by a very sweet receptionist. Our room was clean and quiet, with an incredibly comfortable king size bed! As it was summer, we were also provided a portable fan in the room, should it become too warm. We had a great dinner at the Feathers Pub and a swift check out in the morning. Highly recommend staying here!'

'The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. Room was clean and cosy with coffee and tea facilities. A bottle of water was also supplied with a selection of biscuits. Iron and board in cupboard for those who want to sort the creases out.
