'Goed, vriendelijk en flexibel personeel. Door een harde stortbui was er wateroverlast ontstaan in restaurant en keuken. Werd heel goed opgelost.'

'Very nice hotel on a very convenient location. Just outside the buzz of Southend pier and city center but in walking distance. Great views over the Thames estuary. The rooms are very well appointed. Great design. But unfortunately not all design is practical. The bathroom is really too small. Room 204 very large, but a tiny bed and an unworkable bathroom. This doesnt add up to comfort. I hope they have rooms with a normal size bathroom. '

'Very nice accomodation and employees. Furniture a bit old but room of good size and comfortable shower. Only thing is that the heating system is turned off during the day and only switches in at 18.00 hrs ( except when it’s really freezing outside)'

'Leuk hotel als de prijzen niet overdreven zijn. Soms durven ze 700 euro vragen voor 3 nachten. Beddengoed is dringend aan vervanging toe. Zitten nog 25 jaar achter op hun tijd met lakens en dekens. Waarvan de dekens allesbehalve goed aanvoelen(sponsachtige touch). En dit toch voor een niet goedkoop hotel. Meerwaarde van dit hotel is grote kamers, proper, koffie en thee gelegenheid op de kamer. Goed internet, zwembad, sauna en fitness. In de zomer leuke tuin en mogelijkheid buiten te zitten.'
