Gelegen op Sampson Hill op Chappaquiddick. Dit is het hoogste punt in Edgartown. Dit huis heeft het allemaal! Fantastisch uitzicht op Nantucket Sound, gastronomische keuken, grote veranda met eet / zithoek, gigantische beschutte veranda met spelletjes en een bar, grote buitendouche, tennisbaan, basketbal, volleybal en meer. Gunstig, dicht bij de veerboot, Community Center en Slip Away Farm. In de buurt van de stranden en geen verkeer. Professioneel aangelegd en ingericht.

A great get-away

The house was a wonderful place to gather with friends and family. All of our children, ages 10-16, loved the games which kept them happily occupied during downtime. The main floor was beautiful and was such a relaxing space to enjoy the spectacular view. The number of bathrooms made getting ready for the day so easy! We hope to return!

If you like Chappy, you'll love this place!

The top floor of this house was where we spent all our waking time when not outside - it is fabulous. It is one, very attractive, airy room with a fabulous kitchen at one end (enormous amount of marble counter space and a hugh marble center island) and a television area at the far end. In between is a living room/dining room area. That room opens out to a huge balcony ideal for outside meals (we BBQed out there most nights). It can get steamy in the middle of the island, but the mini split air conditioning kept us feeling very comfortably cool and dry on hot days. Having a tennis court was terrific for my family and guests. And at 1.5 miles to the ferry, bicycling to Edgartown was easy.

Perfect House for large family reunion

Memorable stay with kids & grandkids. Beautiful sunsets from the deck; wonderful evenings around the firepit;; plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Really great Chappy experience!

Lovely home on secluded lot with pretty views and access to gorgeous beaches. No traffic. Ideal for large family with lots to do at house like ping pong and tennis and fire pit and huge screened and unscreened porches.

Excellent chappy house!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chappy property. The house was perfectly situated for our stay in Martha’s Vineyard! The tennis court was pristine . And the views from the second floor were fantastic. Very nice kitchen and bar area as well.

Perfect

It was the perfect place for me and my family. The grounds are beautiful and the home is warm and inviting. There is lots of areas to go for alone time or to be with a large group. Amy could not have been more engaging and warm to our family. Sun rise and sun sets are beautiful. The kitchen, living area and the deck was spacious enough for a party of 12 or more. In love with Chappy!

We have vacationed on Martha's Vineyard for over 13 years but this was our first time staying on Chappaquiddick. It will not be our last. The beaches were beautiful and it felt like we had them all to ourselves. The kids had fun riding the ferry back and forth to Edgartown. The home and grounds were beautiful! We had a bit of a hard time finding it at first but that's just part of the Chappy Charm. We took full advantage of the tennis court and screened in porch with games. Hosts were very accessible and jumped to action when the freezer stopped working. Got it fixed that day. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect house on Chappaquiddick

This house was perfect! Great location on remote Chappaquiddick and just a short ferry ride over to the main island. Amy was so responsive and helpful. This house truly lives up to the gorgeous pictures and description. Updated, clean, and fully stocked with any and everything you could even think of needing on a trip. We were a group of 10 with 4 adults and 6 children. The kids loved the freedom of the large yard and adjoining basketball and tennis courts. For reference, we are a group that typically stays at 4 and 5 star hotels - this home was all that and more. Will definitely be returning here again.

Overall Great Place

My family opted for this property due to the perfect size for how many people, and overall the place was great! A few hiccups when we first got there, but property was in a beautiful location, inside was clean and ready for us to stay! Screened in porch was a bit of a bummer this time of year (too cold and not so clean), but overall the place was perfect for us! Would definitely go back during warmer weather to see what else there is to offer!

Great location and plenty of space for a family gathering. For price, missing a few amenities such as working light bulbs, hand towels, coffee maker (other then a single serving machine). Grounds were pretty after Picking up the empty beer cans in the yard. Watch the lounge chair cushions on the deck- water logged when we arrived. Spectacular deck for watching the sunrise each morning. Love staying on Chappy for the quiet and peace with the amenities of Edgartown just across the way. Dont miss the japanese garden run by the land trust.

Lovely, large space for large groups!

I rented Amy's home for a week with a large group of friends over July 4th. We all agreed that it was the ideal home - everyone felt like we had enough privacy, there was more than enough seating (both inside and out), and there were so many fun activities and games at our disposal! The kitchen and outside grill were perfect for large group dinners. The only one drawback is that the house is in the middle of Chappy, so if friends are coming and going, you have to drive to get them from the ferry. Next time, I would have brought more than one car for this reason. Amy was an incredible host, very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this house, and we look forward to returning in future years!

It would have been nice for someone to have the house more ready than we found it. There wasn’t any info on how to check in and when we got there it seemed stuffy and a little tired. There wasplenty of room and the beds were made nicely.
