Welkom in ons eersteklas herenhuis met vijf slaapkamers in het prestigieuze Hillside District van Edinburgh. Of zoals je het kunt noemen - thuis. Zelfstandige luxe in het hart van de stad. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat er geen betere manier is om in de adembenemende hoofdstad van Schotland te blijven.

Top Hat House is een monumentaal Georgiaans gebouw ontworpen door de beroemde architect William H Playfair. We hebben deze typische New Town-woning liefdevol gerestaureerd in een smetteloos huurhuis. Het is een zalige mix van originele elegantie en alle gemakken van het moderne leven.

We wilden zoveel meer creëren dan een plek om je hoofd te laten rusten. Top Hat House is een plek waar je Edinburgh in totaal comfort en stijl kunt ademen. Met leuke, levendige interieurs en ultramoderne apparatuur overal, kunt u komen en gaan, en alleen ooit tevreden zijn.

De salon: - De perfecte setting om samen te zijn als een groep of terwijl u 's avonds weg bent met een goed boek. Heerlijke details zijn overal in deze gemeenschappelijke ruimte die doordrenkt is met natuurlijk licht door de charmante hoge ramen. Het uitzicht over de Royal Terrace Gardens is gewoonweg verbluffend.
De keuken: - is ideaal voor het bereiden van een storm, terwijl omringd door geweldig gezelschap. Voorzieningen zijn onder andere kokend water kraan, koffiezetapparaat, drankjes koelkast, televisie

Gorgeous property in Fabulous Location

The property is even prettier in person! Check in was easy and communication with the owners was very thorough. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of natural light and in a fabulous location.

Stunning, huge, beautiful home

This house leant a real luxury feel to our stay in Edinburgh. Gorgeously appointed, it easily accommodated my family group of 7. Every bedroom has a large bed and en suite bathroom, and most of the bathrooms had heated floors. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Royal Mile, restaurants, and shopping. Loved it.

Edinburgh luxury city break

A beautiful well-appointed house in a great location. Easy to walk around the city from here but bus and tram stops very nearby too. The house is gorgeous and felt like home the moment we arrived.

Wow…Fantastic place!!

This is the Tophat place for a reason. Great location, great spacious house, great hosts. We had 9 of us there for almost a week; youngest was 17 oldest was 80. The five bedrooms each with on-suite bathrooms were tastefully decorated and well appointed. We all felt the hose offered all that we needed for our large family.

Beautiful house, great location

Nine friends from London/Kent/Essex in Edinburgh for a few days to celebrate some milestone birthdays. So impressed with this beautiful house, and it was perfect for our needs. Also a great location, we were able to walk to Arthur's Seat in about 15 mins. Cheap Ubers in and out of the main centre for our nightly escapades.

Wonderful townhouse

Our family of 7, three generations, thoroughly enjoyed this house. It was in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space for everyone and a terrific kitchen. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

A great place for family

We very much enjoyed our stay at Top Hat House. We were a family of 6 adults (3 couples) and one toddler, and the house was perfect for our needs. The layout is excellent, it is well-appointed, and it's in a great location for accessible sight-seeing but is also fairly quiet.

This is a gorgeous, well appointed luxury property. There were a few things, like missing or burned out lightbulbs in some of the lamps in the bedrooms. But overall it's a great location and perfect for a large group.

Traveling w a big family is hard. But Hillside Crescent made our trip easy. We rent a lot of homes and I highly recommend this place. It’s location and size are incredible. We loved the short walk over the park to the city center. And everything about it.

Top Hat House Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Top Hat House. We came to Edinburgh to visit our daughter who is getting her masters at the University of Edinburgh and decided to have a large family/friends holiday at the same time. The house was well equipped and easily accommodated 8 adults comfortably. The location was convenient and an easy walk to most tourist sites. There is no shortage of good restaurants nearby and the kitchen was well enough equipped for a large roast dinner we cooked one evening. Could use a few more paper products like paper towels and napkins but that really is nitpicking. Highly recommend!

50th Birthday Celebration

The Top Hat House is in an amazing Georgian tenement building in a lovely part of Edinburgh not too far from Princes Street. The accommodation is spacious, modern and stylish; which meant we could do Edinburgh in style. Perfect to see all the wonderful things that the City of Edinburgh has to offer. Would strongly recommend it!

Exceeded our expectations!

The Top Hat was beautiful! The pictures did not do it justice! We had a group of 10 and the space was perfect! The location was ideal, we had everything we needed. Communication with the host could have been better however Jane indicated some difficulties with the vrbo app. I would highly recommend this property.

Our family stayed here for our daughters wedding . It was a lovely and spacious home to celebrate the special event. The owner , Jane, was very helpful when we contacted with a couple of queries. Would recommend it for a peaceful and elegant stay in the centre of the city.

This is a great property: lots of space, great kitchen and a very good location under Carlton Hill. We were also impressed that when we raised a maintenance issue with the owner it was dealt with that day. A small quibble: the Nespresso machine had been replaced with a Lavazo that takes a different and hard to find type of capsule.

Beautiful townhouse
