'Other reviewers have mentioned the number of stairs to reach the entrance. When you arrive and look up, then you realize... The climb was a little more than we anticipated. Pack accordingly to make sure all items can be handled by one person or be prepared to team-carry. You get used to the climb after a couple of days. Parking is very tight in the immediate area of the condo, however, spaces were not assigned from what we could tell, so we parked in a nearby area that was more easy to...

'Property was old and only partially remodeled (kitchen and bathrooms). Furniture was very old and outdated. Steps to unit were very steep and rickety with no backs. No golf cart allowed or provided and must pay $75 for amenities. Overall island is nice, clean, and enjoyably old school. Our favorite restaurant is The Waterfront (best crab cakes ever!). Feel we pretty much covered all of Edisto in one visit. Not likely to revisit, although might be good for a quick weekend getaway.'

'Location was perfect for our short trip. Beautiful area. Was a nice place to walk the dog. Evenings especially nice as the condo has a large open porch overlooking the golf course, close to the golf pro shop and restaurants. Deer sightings at dust. Recommend this very highly.'
