'Clean room good breakfast'

'We were traveling home because my husband broke his ankle in AZ and we needed to see a surgeon at home. The staff was wonderful in getting us a downstairs room and helped us as much as possible. I truly appreciate them!!! Our room was very clean and breakfast was good. We did not use any of the amenities. We were exhausted!!'

Besides the room being bigger than average and a bathtub that can fit 2 people , it’s a basic stay. Large room but with the basics like anywhere else wich makes the unused space feel kinda wasted. 'Restaurant very awful. Food took all day. When I ordered ribeye they came back and said they was out of steaks. They staff ate them all for lunch on their break. So I ordered country fried steak and mash potatoes. Potatoes was hard and not mashed but bitter to eat. Country fried steak was burnt and crumbled with I tried to cut it. Awful place to gamble. 'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. 'As a whole the room was nice. The two things I did not like are the low toilet (so low until someone could possibly get hurt) and the television going off for more than 12 hours. That happened my last night there. The television went off about 8:55 p.m. and never came back on. I checked out the next day.'

Everyone we encountered from check in to check out and even the person working around the hotel that we passed in the hallway went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay.'
