'It really wasn't bad other than other guests complaining about it being too loud at 10:00 at night on a Friday kind of weird to me but there was a lot of old people staying at the hotel they do like to go to bed early'

'It was very close to everything we wanted to do. However when we first arrived the room had a terrible funky smell like dirty clothes. For a newly renovated space this was not expected. On our last day of a one week stay the fire alarm went off when a patron was smoking in the hotel at 03:15 am. There was no notification of false alarm or evacuate the hotel. Finally we were under the impression that being a member of Holiday Inns reward program that we would be earning points from our stay. ...

'Very clean rooms. I checked for bedbugs, they were not present! Housekeeping was very efficient and went through at regular intervals (daily) to keep the room in good condition. The only thing that was negative was the first night we stayed, someone was yelling at someone else right outside our window at 4:00am and shortly after that, I thought I heard gunshots. That's not the staff's fault, that's the City of Elyria's fault.'

'The hotel is in disrepair. The room looks nothing like the pictures posted. They closed the pool because they couldn't figure out how to schedule usage of it. The carpet in the rooms is from the 80s.'
