'Cottage was lovely and quirky comfortable and warm, but there was a few issues, cobwebs in the bedroom table lamp in the lounge gave me an electric shock! Stairs outside need looking at as very worn out and not enough utensils pizza tray didn’t fit the small oven. The local Woodmancote pub was great for Sunday lunch and you get a 20% discount too.'

'We were excited for our stay as working mums some precious time for R&R was much anticipated. The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all...

'Main light did not work, and in the dark, I had to move the bed to access a dangerous wall socket for the bedside light. There was nowhere to put clothes, items or a desk to use and no chair and no space for this anyway. Better if the small double bed was swopped for a single to allow a desk & chair to be put in. The steep and shallow stairs were a safety hazard, so be careful. And the TV didn't allow access to Freeview! There was no crockery or cutlery to use despite advertising a well-equipped...

'Great location and everything you need for a short stay at Portsmouth. Space really is quite small, so was fine for just one, but might be a little tight for two. Oddly, no kettle for tea/coffee and Nespresso machine did not work. Neither did stovetop. Shower, fridge, and everything else was fine.'

'The room was clean, however the fan was dirty, blinds were broken. Walking into the property there was an open room full of clutter and mess, immediately in the hallway was what seemed to be a rolled up amount of carpet, and a house a dog that wasn’t disclosed on the listing. Bathroom functionality was poor as the shower dial was practically falling off of the wall and instructions were unclear on how to turn it off, worst bit was the shelf was covered in empty shampoo bottles and what looked to...

'"I did not stay at this property due to a total failure of service and severe health hazards. Upon arrival, no staff were present and the room was already occupied by two other guests due to a double-booking. The property was in a severe state of disrepair: the door was detached from its hinges, the walls were unwashed, and the bedding had significant biological stains and unwashed pillowcases. Furthermore, there was a heavy, pervasive odor of tobacco smoke. As a diagnosed COPD patient, this...

'The location was okay. I stayed for 2 nights and had no WiFi for the duration. Communication with the maintenance guy was ok however he asked me to send emails to the ‘office’ about the internet issue but I had no response from the ‘office’. My bedding had spots of blood on it. All in all…it was not a great experience. Maintenance guy was very apologetic.'

'arrived at property room was upstairs the stairs were very narrow and dangerous there was loads black bags in garden fence panel down no wear nice to sit not as described in photos at all messaged host took 3 hours get reply because I complained through booking still not sorted refund have photos of rubbish etc I’m disabled and couldn’t manage up down stairs to shared toilet etc sorry but I been staying in few places in Portsmouth these last couple weeks due to partner working there and this was...

'We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable, and Tilly's instructions and communication were excellent. Guidance on local points of interest, shopping facilities, and local restaurants were much appreciated.'

'Lovely confortable accommodation, within easy walking distance to the beach and local pub in West Wittering.'

'We booked a so called “luxury” property through Expedia, and what we arrived to was diabolical. This is not an exaggeration from the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was in a disgraceful condition. The settee was broken and leaning, covered in stains, the walls were filthy, and the garden was completely overgrown. To make matters worse, a full, rotting bin outside was swarming with flies, which were flying into the house as we opened the door. We contacted the management company...
