'Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. '

'What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay.'

'Had an amazing stay at Ship in Dock Inn. The owner had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and special. Lots of little extra details that you don't get in most places. 'Our stay at Villa Marina was excellent. We were given a very warm welcome and the room was very comfortable and everything we could want was provided. Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well cooked and served beautifully. We would be very happy to stay there again.'

'Oud hotel, wel goede hygiene, vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Geen enkele kamer heeft zicht op zee, toch wordt dit beweerd in de beschrijving van de kamer. Al bij goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. '

'Very interesting set up at the Rooms, loved the decor and the big lounge area. The little touches such as milk and water in fridge, and the dog basket, was really good. The decor in the bathroom on one side was dated and the towel rail had come away from the wall.. but everything was clean and presented very nicely.
