'Oud hotel, wel goede hygiene, vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Geen enkele kamer heeft zicht op zee, toch wordt dit beweerd in de beschrijving van de kamer. Al bij goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. '

'Beautiful pub opposite a babbling brook. So pretty. Made welcome from the start. Lovely double room with all you need. Great breakfast that sets you up for the day and ate there each of our four evenings. Food very good. Would highly recommend so long as you are happy to drive down very narrow country lanes and reversing back every so often as they are one vehicle roads. Part of being in the country as is being woken by the bleating sheep, quaking ducks and flying geese. Loved it. '

'Kelly was a wonderful host who clearly takes so much pride in her property. The room I had was comfortable with a great shower. I had the window open overnight due to the heatwave but it was lovelt and quiet all night. Would definitely visit again!'

'Wij hadden oorspronkelijk 2 kamers geboekt bij de Torcroft en moesten er helaas 1 annuleren. Bij aankomst 's avonds in het hotel bleken echter beide kamers geannuleerd te zijn. Foutje van Expedia of van het hotel. Wij weten het niet. Er waren ook geen kamers meer vrij. De eigenaren van het hotel vonden dit zelf ook heel vervelend voor ons en hebben ervoor gezorgd dat wij een kamer kregen bij hun buren (Riviera 1). De Torcroft leek ons een leuk hotel, maar het buurhotel was in ieder geval een...

'Absolutely beautiful Guest House. Everything about the whole stay was first class. Michelle & James were so welcoming. Their house is beautiful, clean, inviting, homely and breakfast was delicious. Michelle even came to the rescue with a little sunburn incident, helping out. Overall a 10/10 stay. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Torquay. '

'We really enjoyed staying at Arran Lodge. Every single thing has been meticulously & tastefully done. We felt like we were staying at a four star hotel with the loveliest owners ever! Ashtray is provided for the balcony’s if needed! A beautiful clean room with fridge, fresh milk & bottled water daily, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cakes! There’s a hairdryer & iron too. 'Main drawback was parking which was some distance so no quick access to car for forgotten items. To be fair, proprietor provided a free personal taxi service on arrival and departure. Breakfast a bit quirky. '
