'We had a very nice stay in a quiet hotel in Espot, right in the center. We had a suite on the first floor. Fairly expensive compared to other lodgings in the area, but it was large with a separate seeting area. The sofa should be replaced though, it is old and worn. 'This is a great hotel. It's clean and well run. Vini at the reception desk is a wealth of information and will provide advice on activities all over the area tailored to level of fitness, etc. The rooms are spacious; ours was right next to a river, which was wonderful, and we could see the peaks of the mountains. There are several really good restaurants nearby. My only complaint was that when we arrived the room reeked of perfume. We searched and found a plastic container. We moved it outside...

'The hotel was very basic and was definitely geared towards winter vacations. Our very small bare room had two beds, one outlet, one ceiling light and two metal shelfs. The shared bathroom was ok, but the toilet stalls were made from plywood and everything seemed to be done on a budget. All this would have been fine since the price matched the amenities, but it didn't. We found an amazing hotel (with an electric charge station!) in a neighboring town at a lower price. '

'The accommodations were generally fine. The biggest issue was communication with the host who spoke no English. He tried hard but it was difficult. There were no instructions other than how to enter the condo. We’re used to having a host leave restaurant recommendations, things to do, points of interest, places to shop, how to use the washing machine, etc. The kitchen implements were dated.
