'Hotel is verouderd en heeft dringed onderhoud nodig, zwembad is klein en ook verouderd. Restaurant is goed eten ok. Geen lift dus met zware koffer een hele toer om boven te komen als je niet op de eerste verdieping zit. 2 nachten meer dan genoeg om hier te verblijven. Heeft 3 sterren maar 2 sterren zou meer dan genoeg zijn'

'This property was excellent, we only stayed one night before heading home but wished we had checked it out sooner! It was clean, the owners were so kind and the pool was an added bonus! '

'Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price.'

'The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! '

'What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Het management bevordert de interactie van de gasten met elkaar door elke avond een bescheiden happy hour te organiseren. 'The best and worth part of staying here is the view aside from that breakfast was free it helped a lot with spending money on food also because the only way to eat is actually getting into a taxi and finding everything else since you are on the top of a mountain and there’s nothing near or around there unless you’re driving or taking a taxi which are per person and becomes very expensive after a few rides a day. Did wish the breakfast was more flexible as you only have 2 options to choose from...
