'The owner responded quickly to any questions which arose. Check-in and check-out were easy. The view from the balcony is wonderful. It is a very steep and windy road to the place. Glad we arrived during daylight. This was our first time to St. Thomas and we did not know how mountainous it is. If renting a car, make sure to get one that can make it up the mountains. 'Our stay at The Saint was great, the room was clean and had a beautiful view of the Sea. The balcony had lovely flowering plants nearby that were wonderfully fragrant which added a special feature to our morning coffee on the porch. 'Sunset Gardens was nice enough and I would stay there again, but it was not 5 star accommodations. If you stay at a fancy resort I am guessing you will not experience the idiosyncrasies of island life. We stayed 2 nights and really only slept and showered.
