'We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host. '

The host has impeccable taste and it shows, from the awesome comfortable bedding to the robes and slippers provided in main bath and even a "just in case you forgot something" basket. 'The house was amazing! There was plenty of room for family. The kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The living room was spacious and the sectional couch provided plenty of seating and was extremely comfy. The beds were so comfortable with hotel style sheets. 'Everything was great! The house is furnished well with everything you would need in a weekend stay. We had a couple minor issues but Terri was very prompt with getting them taken care of for us. She was very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area. If I ever find myself in the Lake Cumberland area again, I will book again! '
