'Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

'We had two large families stay here and found the property to be very clean, well stocked, and as advertised. There is no air conditioning in this home, so it got very hot! But, we knew that from the listing and packed a few extra fans which I would recommend. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, a great stay.'

'Marilyn and Jim couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, check-in couldn’t have been easier. The cottage was spotless. The beach area was a big hit. This is a sandy bottom lake which is great for water clarity and if you don’t like squishy/muddy lake bottoms. Sunsets right over the lake were amazing. Could’t recommend it more, enjoy!'

'We had 5 adults and an infant in our group. All slept comfortably and the house is immaculate and well stocked. Our favorite part was sitting on the couch and looking out over the lake early in the morning as it was a bit cool to be outside. The lake is remarkably clean and clear and the beach has a hard sandy bottom out past the end of the dock.We had a couple of questions and Sara responded immediately to help us out. If you are looking for a cozy spot for a getaway, this is your place!'

'We loved our stay at this cottage. The house and lake were beautiful, I loved the fact that they had high end smart appliances and tvs, and the beds were so comfy! Paul the host had the best communication, always checking in and giving us helpful pointers for our trip. The town of Hale was awesome, it had everything we needed and the local restaurants had delicious food. We had ice cream every night at the Victorian cafe, a lot of little gems in this town. I would say we'd definitely love to...
