'Beautiful old houses and fun to stay in the back apartment of the museum. Sad we missed the tour opportunity (ended three days before we checked in). We would stay there again. '

It is very private, yet only 20 minutes from I-95 and major supermarkets, etc. If you are looking for piece and quiet, security, a delightfully private pond and a stunning view of the opposite, natural, shoreline with no other cottages, this is your place! 'This property was so peaceful and quiet. It sits on a large lot with lots of privacy. The walk down to the dock is fun for kids, lots of rocks and it’s a little trail. We spent most of our time down at the dock. The views were spectacular, beautiful reflections in the water each morning, calm quiet lake and the sunset right in front of us each night. 'This house was perfect for our family trip. We had another family with small children as well and they all had a great time. When we weren’t out at the dock or in the water there were lots of great kids books and games for them to play with and explore. The only “down” side was that while there is an AC cooling unit that you can move around the house itself isn’t. It got somewhat warm during the day but the cool nights helped a lot.
