'Lovely quirky place hosts and staff were lovely.absolute highlight was the food served in the beautifull train carriage,we both had the steak highly reccomend it as good as the ivy.entertainment both nights really enjoyed,lovely garden. Hosts very hands on and hard working after 7 months hard work hope they can have a little break.'

'Its a nice hotel for a few days. No change of bathroom towels or room cleaning. You hv to ask for it at the reception desk... we stayed three nights. How can you expect guests to use the towels for three days? I dont might the cleaning (can keep it tidy myself) or that yr bed is not made. Can do that to. But new towels us a must. '

'We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this well-located house. Even though I missed the check-in time details, Lisa was extremely accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. She also recommended some great places to eat and visit, which we really appreciated. We would happily stay here again.'

'The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!'

'Absolutely lovely place - bedroom was great - clean and had everything you would need at an amazing price. Cannot complain about the room at all. Only had a little niggle with the food as one of our meals wasn’t great but the other fine! Staff were lovely but busy.'

'Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.'
