'It's a lovely hotel but could be a luxurious gem if the owners hired a team of experts in refurbishing hotels. Too many missed opportunities. Reception and kitchen staff are lovely and welcoming! The swimming pool is charming but needs a good scrubb off! '

'Spotlessly clean accommodation with a warm and efficient welcome. Shared facilities which again were perfectly clean. Secure entry system and plenty of off-street parking. Only slight issue was thin walls so could hear the next room on mobile phone but it didn't go on late and I had a good night's sleep.'

'The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. 'Clean rooms, staff were helpful, though the coffee in the machine a bit watery they had croissants n fruits as complimentary breakfast. All in all a very good stay for the price! '

'Burntisland House is rather old, but well maintained. Room was clean and had a lot of space. Railway station is just a 5 minutes walk, with a direct train to Edinburgh. '
