'We had such a lovely stay at Gatehouse 2! The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our meals outside on the deck with a table that could seat all of our family of 8 easily while catching beautiful views of the river! 'We had cottage #17. The cottage was excellent and very clean. Everything worked like it should, good water pressure, washer/dryer in the cottage, and 2 bathrooms! Management response to any question was fast and friendly. The only thing the cottage didn’t have was a good view of the river, although you can get a glimpse from the porch if you look to the right. However, that is not a knock as the cottage is an incredible value. You do have access to the river but it requires walking down a little...

We launched our paddleboard right from the front deck of the house and enjoyed sunset and morning paddles on the St. Lawrence River around Heart Island with fantastic views of Boldt Castle.The house is on a floating dock so the exterior will have a rough marina store feel, but the inside is very well kept and beautifully decorated in a nautical theme.
