When we first arrived, the room honestly looked beautiful — very clean, updated, and modern. We did notice a noticeable sound coming from the mini split/AC, but thankfully the front desk responded quickly and sent maintenance right up to address it, which we appreciated.
That said, there were a few odd inconveniences that took away from the stay. The shower did not have a shower door, which caused a lot of water to spill onto the bathroom floor outside of the shower. Even with the bath mat down, it was still messy and unexpected for an updated room. The toilet seat also seemed too small for the toilet, which was uncomfortable.
We also went down to use the hot tub and it was very chilly. We asked if it could be adjusted, but didn’t get much help. The next day it seemed a bit warmer (possibly after multiple guests complained), but it still wasn’t truly hot like a hot tub should be.
One of the biggest disappointments was the food. Our first night we ordered chicken nachos to share and they were $19, but the nacho cheese tasted like it was microwaved. It really didn’t feel worth the price at all, especially for a place that advertises a higher-end experience. There wasn’t any breakfast included.
Overall, the hotel looks nice and the staff was responsive with maintenance, but the amenities and food didn’t match what’s advertised. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re okay paying 4–5 star prices for a more 2–3 star quality experience. Truly didn’t seem like VIP
