'We were lucky to visit during the off-season, when Charlottetown feels peaceful and authentic—no crowds, no over-tourism, just time to enjoy the Maritime charm. The Sydney Boutique Inn is the stylish, quietly elegant side of the island at its best. Management and ownership have done a first-rate job restoring this historic waterfront building. It’s close to the harbour yet tucked just off-center, which gives it a relaxed, residential feeling. Our suite overlooked a lovely park and a quiet street...

'Chambre très petite. Salle de bains minuscule. Pas de fruits au petit déjeuner sauf le même ravier de morceaux de pastèque et melons durant les 3 jours. Pas de fromage.'

'I was forced to leave the hotel after six nights. I felt quite at home. I would definitely come back. The tea is awesome. In the room, there were some minor flaws but the staff were overwhelming welcoming from day 1 to the end. It is a hotel I would recommend especially if you are looking for a jacuzzi. I love the fireplace as well. It would be perfect to have the jacuzzi face the TV but cant have everything.'

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'Mooi huis met parkeerplaats en op loopafstand van alles in het centrum van Charlottetown. Helaas zaten we naast een kamer waarvan onze buren de hele dag (en nacht) de ventilatie van de badkamer aan hadden staan en dat was extreem goed te horen in onze kamer waardoor we slechter hebben geslapen. In andere kamers heb je hier misschien minder last van. '

The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. It’s also a good option for business travelers, as everything was organized and convenient. However, there were a couple of small drawbacks. The gym was not available due to ongoing repairs, which was a bit disappointing....
