'We stayed here for 4 weeks over Christmas whilst we were waiting to move into our new place. Paul and Julie were the perfect hosts, leaving us a lovely Christmas hamper and presents and decorations. The place is perfect for two and has everything you need, it is tastefully decorated and spotless. Wonderful shower! Very warm and cosy, we were sad to leave!'

'The property was as described, great location and check in was good. We appreciated the complimentary cookies but would have preferred some kitchen roll and , more importantly, a spare loo roll; there was a half roll when we arrived but no spare. Luckily I had tissues with me but it was a little inconvenient. The main problem was that despite it being in the middle of a heat wave the back bedroom window was locked with no key available and the water heater was in the same room so it was even...

'The Bothy is located beside the owner's farmhouse. Lovely peaceful location. The property is clean and well equipped, however as per other reviews the decor and furnishings are very dated and definitely in need of a revamp.'
