'This place is AMAZING! We got moved to their sister hotel called Mereva and got upgraded rooms because something was under construction in Alea and it was so kind of them. They greeted us with a smile and took our luggage’s to our rooms, and we had ALOT of heavy big luggage’s. Jose Luis, Oscar, Felipe, Jose, and Luis were all so kind and we all loved having conversations with them each breakfast and dinner. They were the highlight of my stay here. They made all of our times there so memorable....

'Loved the time we spent here. The reviews complain about the highway and it being loud. The whole time we were there it was quiet and peaceful. The food and drinks were delicious. 'The hotel is just new and has all the potential for a great stay, but currently some of the little things just make it not a 5/5. Our room wasn’t clean (there were nail clippings in the sink!) and when we mentioned it to the desk, it took 2 days for it to be actually cleaned.. in tulum you basically go everywhere by bike, but a 2 person room only gets 1 bike.. so you still end up paying. 'We loved staying at Aloft Tulum. Great hotel, wonderful, rooftop pool, and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I would not recommend setting up your airport shuttle through them though. They didn’t show up for our ride to come home and we had to call a taxi at 4 AM. '
