'Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Cabin is perfectly cozy, with exactly enough to be comfortable. Phone reception was mildly decreased, which was perfect for not falling into the phone but still being somewhat connected. Nestled in the trees, just far enough from the neighboring houses. We felt safe, even when our only light came from the fire pit. We missed our birding field guide, but enjoyed the various winged visitors all the same. 'This was the most elegant, beautiful cabin I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting. The cabin and its surroundings are pristine, and beautifully and delicately decorated. Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer....

'We had a great stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. The pond was well stocked and fishing was fun. Large open floor plan downstairs made hanging out very comfortable. Plenty for the kids to do and a great kitchen for cooking meals. We all agreed that the photos dont do this place justice. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we would stay again! '

'This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!'

'Met the owner when checking in. Friendly and very helpful. Pictures do not give this cabin justice. The cabin is spacious, but cozy. The fire barrel was a great spot to enjoy the evenings. Pretty much what is at home is provided here. Great times! Will be returning. Highly recommend.'

'Stayed 3 nights with our kids and couldn't have asked for better accommodations! Cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The yard and view was amazing. There were recent storms and the river was pretty high and fast, so we didn't try to swim in it. Used the grill and fire pit every night. Great trip! '

'My friends and I stayed her for a golf outing of a golf course that was 5 miles away. We all had a wonderful time. The cabin is near by other cabins but tucked away for privacy. The property manager was prompt in answering all my questions and giving us the information we needed, no stress at all. The golf course was great too!'

'We had a great time staying here for my wife’s birthday. Tons of space: huge main room with 3 fold down futons, one bedroom with a bed and a second bedroom with an additional 2 beds.
