'Ebony at Smokey Joe's cafe was amazing. When we couldn't find our food comp, she walked us to guest services where we met Linda, who was equally amazing. Not only did she find our comp, she tripled it for our "inconvenience." We were not inconvenienced in the least; we enjoyed chatting with Linda. All in all, a trip that greatly exceeded our expectations based on the service we obtained. We will definitely be back!'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'As a whole the room was nice. The two things I did not like are the low toilet (so low until someone could possibly get hurt) and the television going off for more than 12 hours. That happened my last night there. The television went off about 8:55 p.m. and never came back on. I checked out the next day.'

'The room was clean, a/c was sufficient for the hot weather. Building was being remodel (inside). Room was on the third floor near the truck stop constant traffic all night. The staff was professional and courteous.'
