'My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the studio apartment on the Smith River! We were in the area to explore the national park and wanted to find a serene and scenic place to stay outside of Crescent City - this apartment completely hit all the check points for us. 'This is a really clean cute space to stay! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were comfortable! It’s a great place to sleep and spend a little down time on your trip.It is in a residential neighborhood, which should be noted as we were not expecting that. It’s close to many hiking, sightseeing, and fun activities!'

'This house is so cute & cozy! It was one of those properties where you feel like you're staying at a friend's or family member's home; comfortable.....not stuffy or stressful with too many fragile knickknacks & strict rules! We loved the back porch for dinner and the hanging swings for reading & coffee. The place is well stocked so you don't have to run out for every little thing. My daughters loved the provided cookies & q-tips, haha! Very comfy beds with soft sheets. '

'Kathy is a wonderful host. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. The flowers around the house are beautiful. The best part is the location which is about 3/4 mile from the entrance to Jedidiah Smith Park. The trees there are amazing! Oh, and there is a terrific restaurant within walking distance and a gas station/market across from that. PERFECT place to stay to enjoy ALL of the Redwood forests. '

'Bigfoot Bungalow was perfect!! Great location in a safe neighborhood. Very clean, charming and spacious. Enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning, very private. Great location for Redwoods. Redwood visitor center in Cresent City looks very rundown (boarded up window) but worth stopping for Redwood map and advice from great park employees. Would stay again so worth it!!'

'Overall our experience was positive. The home reminded me of my 1st home which was built in the 1940's. The owners here have made improvements inside and it is cozy. Some of the neighborhood homes are nice and some are very run down. Inside this rental the tvs, beds, and appliances are modern. The couch is small and not very comfortable, and there isn't much room in the bathroom to place toiletries. The small kitchen also could use additional counter space. Most of the windows are missing...
