'We had a mixed experience. We stayed in Casco Viejo since I was doing a class in the area, so the location was good in that sense. 'My son (20) and I spent 3 nights here. The space was nicely configured with two good- sized separate bedrooms and a complete kitchen (with clothes and dishwashers, large fridge) and living room. It was clean and recently renovated. The metro stop is right out the back door, just 10-15 minute to central Bilbao Quiet place to sleep away from the city center but an easy commute. Local shops had everything we needed. A perfect and affordable option, especially for a small family. '
