We loved hiking the Maryland heights trail and exploring Harper’s ferry. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we love the outdoors and history. We can’t wait to come back!'

'Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well.'

'The A Frame Mountain Retreat was an excellent choice for our girls trip! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and true to the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and cute firepit area immensely There were some ants, which is to be expected in the middle of the woods, but keeping all of our food in sealed containers or the fridge helped. Kim, the host, was informative and prompt to respond. I felt well prepared prior to arrival. The location was nice. You really feel like you’re secluded in the woods....

'My husband and I enjoyed our five day stay at the Canal House. We were surrounded by early American décor and felt like we stepped back in time with modern conveniences added. We were cool and comfortable in the midst of a heat wave, the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.The rocking chairs on the porch were great for morning coffee and conversations. The nearness of the C&O Canal Towpath at Taylor’s Landing provided wonderful opportunities...
