'The house was perfect for 4 of us for two nights! It was close by to the national parks. The house was very clean, had lots of towels and the view of the river was very pretty. It was further from the river than we originally thought but that did not impact our stay. The host responded immediately when we requested to build a campfire. He put chairs out for us and set it up by the river. '

'This home was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, very close to all things. We had a fantastic time.'

'My cousin and I planned this trip so that we could do some biking on the C & O Canal Towpath. We loved that the host provided bikes for our use and were able to hit the trail for a bit in spite of a rainy weekend. The location of the property was ideal for this. We also found several wineries in close proximity and added those to our itinerary since we were not able to bike as much as we would have liked to. The house was very cute and clean and had everything that we needed during our stay....

'We had a wonderful 5-day getaway at the River Perch! The three kids spent hours on the river each day, we went tubing and kayaking, we got to see our dog enjoy her first real swims, and then we got to relax in the very cozy, very clean house with the beautiful front porch view of the Cacapon. Glenn made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for a trip away!'

'Nice quiet place. Nice new deck. Good location. Helpful owners. The only downside was the hot tub water was not clean on arrival. Did not use. Recommend to owner to instruct renters to add cleaning solution upon arrival if that’s what is required for it to be usable. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.'

'Enjoyed our stay in historic Harpers Ferry. It was close to other sites. We wanted to see like Sharpsburg and Gettysburg.'

'It was very comfortable and the outdoor beauty was excellent. Great location for the area. Only negative was a sofa couch that obviously had been repaired before but failed when one of us sat down. We have pictures. Made a note of it to the contact person. They stated they would have team repair it after we left. There would be no $charges$ applied (since we did not do the damage). '

'Amazing home with all the amenities and more! The host made everything so easy. Fast, accurate and thoughtful communication. Wonderful mountain retreat You feel like you’re a million miles away but a short drive away are groceries and a few restaurants. The pictures do not do it justice. '

'The property was exactly as described. The inside was clean and welcoming and comfortable and oh so quiet. We enjoyed the Keurig coffee n the porch where the sun came up and deer waltzed by. '

'Beautiful home. Great location. Easy river access. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Short drive to downtown Berkeley Sprints. Amazing place for a group of friends or a couple families. '

'The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.'

'The Outlook was perfect for our weekend stay while attending our son's bike race at Cacapon State Park.The place was clean, has a well stocked kitchen, and a large relaxing deck in a peaceful, serene setting. Would stay again!'
