'We really enjoyed Lazy Creek Cottage. It was the perfect weekend for our son’s Univ of SC and we loved staying in the Chapin/ Lake Murray area. The property was impeccably clean and the location idyllic overlooking the lake. We used the paddle boards and the hot tub. Jesse, the property manager was great. We would stay here again. 'Stay was amazing, I'd stay again, but I would bring my own pans, those pans in the house I'd consider an embarrassment and would never feed my family off those. I was sad the can opener was broken. Overall for how much it costs the toilet paper and paper towels could be nicer,not trying to complain either just being completely real. I would have so much fun doing a remodel on this house the gorgeous potential it has.'

'The house smelled musty . There were several things in the house that were just not great, broken light switches, white tape in bathroom shower , dirty and moldy cushions for outdoor furniture, beds were rock hard , sofa felt like you were sitting in a hole, paint needed on lots of molding and throughout the house.'

'Appliances are new. Spacious and comfortable house. Sufficient utensils provided by owner. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Convenient location. '

'Great location but the trash hadn’t been taken off the property and the back steps looked like someone could fall through at any time. Dock was also a little scary. Overall cleanliness was poor. A bolt sticking out for a toilet paper holder. Water pressure was poor. No outside furniture for screened porch '

'The house was clean and neat, inside and outside. However, the photos and description did not accurately portray the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe or concerned, but the neighborhood was not as "nice" as implied. I would stay there again, but with different expectations. Things that would make this property and experience better: 1) Really need to repair/replace the exhaust fan in the hall bathroom. It will soon destroy itself. 2) Door knob in master-bathroom is slipping and extremely...

'Very pet friendly. Kitchen was good but disorganized. Would suggest painting the from door. The furniture was lovely as were the hardwood floors. Great location for Riverbanks Zoo visit.'
