'For a first timer being nervous it was really good. All the things it said it would have it had and more. It was nice to be off the grid and away from people. Plenty of bath towels and extras. I was use to a gas grill and this was a charcoal, so needed to provided own charcoal. But otherwise it had all the things to make meals as far as utensils went. '

'This cabin was absolutely perfect for a week-long retreat. The cabin is clean, tastefully decorated and has everything you need and so much more. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. The a/c unit in the bedroom, in addition to the one in the main part of the cabin, kept us comfortable and cool. The loft really elevates the cabin with 2 queen beds and cute decor as well. The bathroom was open and bright and the large shower was just what we needed after a full day...

'Beautiful spot and exactly how it was described. The solar power system worked great and lasted a while. The lake was peaceful and calm. The hosts were great and allowed privacy with a separate drive. Nice remote area. Great scenery, tranquil, and peaceful. Great place to stay and definitely would stay again. The hosts are easy to get ahold of and super helpful about the area and the cabin! '

'Wonderful location right on the lake! Kayaks and a canoe are available to use on the property. The cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the big windows in the living room where we could enjoy watching the wildlife and the lake right outside the windows! Both Gladstone and Escanaba have a wonderful sandy beach, one of the best ones we have seen in Michigan. Lots to do in the area!'

'Owner was very nice & responsed quickly. The cabin was beautiful, clean & fully stocked. My daughter's lives in Escanaba so the location worked very well & its a nice drive to Marquette & Munising. We even took a road trip to Copper Harbour. I would highly recommend renting this property. '
